We build our bags to last — but if something breaks, we’d always rather fix it than see it go to waste. That’s why we offer repairs for all genuine Salkan backpacks, no matter how many adventures they’ve been on.
Organise a Repair
Step 1 — Gather your details
Make sure you have:
- Your order number
- Full name and return address
- Which product, a description and location of the issue
- Clear photos showing the issue
Step 2 — Email us
Send everything to info@discoversalkan.com.
Step 3 — We’ll review it
We’ll take a look and let you know what’s possible. If it’s covered by our lifetime guarantee, we’ll repair it free of charge — you just pay for shipping it to us. If it’s not covered, once we know all the information about your repair, we will be in touch about the cost and next steps.

What kind of repairs do you offer?
We repair zips, buckles, stitching, straps, and general wear and tear. If you’re not sure whether something can be fixed, just ask and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
How long does a repair take?
Repairs usually take 2–4 weeks, depending on the issue and your location. We’ll give you an estimate once we’ve assessed your backpack.
Is it free?
If it’s covered by our lifetime guarantee, we’ll repair it free of charge — you just pay for shipping it to us. If it’s not covered, once we know all the information about your repair, we will be in touch about the cost and next steps.
Can you repair bags that weren’t bought new or are second-hand?
Yes, as long as it’s a genuine Salkan product, we’ll happily take a look and let you know what we can do.
