Chai Tea

Chai Tea is a firm favourite when wandering the streets in India. Tom’s fiancé Sian spent three months teaching at the foot of the Himalayas. We asked her to get back in touch with the family she stayed with to send their homemade recipe.

However, the recipe we got back – wasn’t quite how we expected. They told us to put the tea bag in with hot water and that was that! So back to the drawing board- we did some research of our own and came up with this…

Make straight on the campfire or make at home and store in an Insulated Water Bottle so you can get that little taste of India on a hike during the colder months.
