We’re not doing Black Friday for two reasons. It’s not good for the planet because it encourages people to buy things they don’t need. Also creating a culture of discounting is bad for independent business like us as we can’t slash our prices, like the big retailers can.
If you are still itching to press that buy it now button, we’ve put a list together with some of our favourite independent brands that you can support instead.

Unto This Last
The workshop in the city – this furniture studio sells items that are made by amazing craft in two central London locations. They make some beautiful pieces at very competitive prices.
Illwookie Shop
We recently spent some time down in Brighton with illustrator Will Richards after finding him on Instagram through a little project we have in the pipeline. His illustrations have made it onto some clothing and are available on his online store.

We met the founder, Naudia, at Keswick Mountain Festival and her Bamboo Sleepwear is just absolutely perfect if you are off on an adventure soon.

Founder Sean offers stand-up paddleboarding lessons on the south coast, good vibes and good equipment will ensure you will have a good time on the water. He also joined us on our van adventure.
Outdoor Provisions
Born on a bikepacking trip – somewhere between not showering for 5 days, rolling around in bivvy bags and shouting kaaa kaaaw every-time they saw a majestic bird of prey, that out door provisions was born. A few years on, they are now making all natural energy snacks for fresh-air heads and they are delicious.
